It's Christmas Eve!
Through the effors of our mothers and even a trip to the grocery store, we did a little decorating for Christmas in our apartment. We have a tree, garland, and some sparkly bits in our plants. See?
Don't know why I insist on taking dark pictures... You might have to trust me that all the plants have a Christmas sparkle to them.
Anyhoo... We left Shanghai on Christmas Eve morning at 1:30 am. Man, that airport was gigantic!! Even better was the security line; the lady asked what liquids I was carrying and then waived me through. Woohoo!
After sort of sleeping on the plane, we were picked up by a van at the Manila airport. We drove for 3 hours, sort of sleeping, passing through little town after little town, before finally arriving at our resort, Aiyanar. A quick snack of oatmeal and skype-ing both parental units, we finished out the morning sleeping in our lovely little room.
While this is a dive resort, we actually think we're not going to take any intro dive classes because we have that on our itinerary in a few days. In that case, we're using this stop on our tour package to do absolutely nothing. See?
Ah! Feet!
Double ah! Mark is lurking!
Tomorrow is about the same. The day after, we'll be going to a different resort for some diving! We'll be on the look out for wifi in our future, but until then,
Merry Christmas!
