AKA Mark's iPhone pictures and our final wrap-up of our Filipino Christmas
We were feeling fancy with the Philippines, China, and the US in our pockets. These are roughly the same amount.
In this small space, we smushed two people and two bags. For an hour. In the side car of a motorcycle.
The college town of Bagiuo (Bag-yo) where we spent the night enroute to Sagada. It's worth a visit for a day if you're ever in the area.
And look what we found in Sagada!
More coffins of "pagans" made out of a single piece of wood.
On top of the jeepney, leaving Sagada.
It's so nice to see mountains again!
I didn't like the road construction as much. Or the scary drop-offs.
Neat palm trees that grow in a fan shape.
For seeing a lot of huts in the Philippines, we took very few picture of them. Not that this picture of wood storage counts.
Jessi of the jungle!
Watch out!
We all joined the Muddy Left Foot Club on our first day...
You can see why!
This was actually one of the safer "stairs" since I could put both feet fully on a "step." Not that I was less nervous...
Once again, one wrong step...
So to get back to Manila, it went something like this: 7 pm bus from Banaue (Bah-nah-way), arrive in Manila a little after 4 am, hunker down in a coffee shop, take this picture about 8 am, figure out something to do until our 8 pm flight.
This is the face of exhaustion of travel and excitement of getting back to our Shanghai "home."
:)
