Exhibit 1: The mildly disturbing control box for the toilets at the Ritz-Carlton. Not a fan of heated seats when we were in the middle of a record-breaking heat wave. Ick.
Exhibit 2: Remember that insane scooter parking lot picture? It leads into "Gourment Street" where a lot of good restaurants are at. Gotta love Wanda Plaza.
Exhibits 3 & 4: Our night at the JZ Jazz Club in the Former French Concession. That lady in green in the left picture is smoking under a "no smoking" sign. On the right is a picture of the band with the vocalist. Not bad!
Exhibit 5: We went on a bike ride to Century Park (about 8.5 miles away) on our one-speed cruisers. It was like...95 degrees. We had to giggle a bit because we weren't allowed to bring out bikes in, but we were very welcome to rent a bicycle built for two. Or one of those buggy-like bike things. Or a paddle boat. From there, we biked a couple blocks over to the plant market (again) and then took the long way home. Total miles: 20. And that's a conservative guess.
Exhibit 6: For my dad. :o)
Sweet dreams!
